A quick and easy romantic charcuterie board for two, perfect for date night on a budget. Comes together in under 15 minutes with simple ingredients like brie, prosciutto, and dried figs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 oz Brie cheese
  • 4 oz Aged cheddar
  • 2 oz Goat cheese log
  • 4 oz Prosciutto
  • 4 oz Genoa salami
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Dried figs or apricots
  • 1/4 cup Mixed nuts (almonds and walnuts)
  • 2 tbsp Olives (kalamata or castelvetrano)
  • 1 small baguette or 8–10 crackers
  • Fresh rosemary sprig (optional, for garnish)
  • Dark chocolate squares (optional, 2-3 pieces)
  • Fig jam or honeycomb (optional)

Instructions

  1. Take the cheese out of the fridge 20 minutes before serving to let it come to room temperature.
  2. Slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick rounds (about 10-12 pieces).
  3. Place the cheeses on the board first: brie whole or halved, cheddar in a wedge, goat cheese log whole or sliced into rounds. Space them apart.
  4. Add the meats: fold prosciutto into loose ribbons or roll into cylinders; fan out salami slices in a small stack.
  5. Fill in with accompaniments: place small bowls of olives and nuts, scatter dried figs or apricots, drizzle honey over brie and goat cheese, add dark chocolate if using.
  6. Garnish with rosemary sprig for color. Adjust any empty spots with extra crackers or nuts.
  7. Serve immediately at room temperature with wine and candles if desired.

Notes

Let cheese come to room temperature for best flavor. Don’t overthink the arrangement—messy is charming. Leftover cheese can be wrapped in wax paper and stored for up to a week. Leftover meat is great in sandwiches.
