This creamy, spiced pumpkin cheesecake dip comes together in just five minutes with no baking required. Perfect for fall gatherings, it’s served with crunchy gingersnaps for a crowd-pleasing treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree (about half a 15-oz can)
  • 1 cup powdered sugar, sifted if lumpy
  • ¼ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1½ teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • Gingersnaps for serving

Instructions

  1. Soften cream cheese by letting it sit at room temperature for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Beat softened cream cheese in a large mixing bowl with an electric hand mixer on medium speed until smooth and fluffy, about 2 minutes. Scrape down sides of bowl halfway through.
  3. Add pumpkin puree, powdered sugar, and packed brown sugar. Mix on low speed to combine, then increase to medium and mix until fully combined and uniform in color, about 1 minute.
  4. Add pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract. Mix on low speed just until incorporated, about 30 seconds. Scrape down sides of bowl.
  5. Pour in heavy cream and mix on low speed until desired consistency is reached, about 30 seconds. Add another tablespoon of cream if too thick.
  6. Turn mixer to medium-high and mix for about 30 seconds to incorporate air and make dip light and fluffy. Scrape bowl and stir with spatula.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed (more spice, salt, or sweetness).
  8. Transfer dip to a serving bowl, smooth top, and serve immediately with gingersnaps or refrigerate for later.

Notes

For best results, use room temperature cream cheese to avoid lumps. If dip seems runny, let pumpkin puree sit in a fine-mesh strainer for 10 minutes to drain excess liquid. Flavors improve after a few hours in the fridge. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days. Freeze for up to 3 months.
