Crisp apple slices drizzled with warm peanut butter, sprinkled with chocolate chips and peanuts. A quick, healthy, and delicious snack that’s ready in 10 minutes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large apples (Honeycrisp or Fuji preferred), cored and thinly sliced
  • ½ cup creamy peanut butter (natural style preferred)
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil (refined for no coconut flavor)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (or honey)
  • ¼ cup mini chocolate chips (dark, milk, or white)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped peanuts
  • Pinch of flaky sea salt
  • Optional toppings: shredded coconut, dried cranberries, melted dark chocolate, cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry apples. Core and slice into thin rounds, about ¼ inch thick. Arrange in a single layer on a serving platter.
  2. In a small microwave-safe bowl, combine peanut butter, coconut oil, and maple syrup. Microwave for 20 seconds, stir, then microwave in 10-second bursts until thin and pourable (like warm honey).
  3. Drizzle the warm peanut butter mixture evenly over the apple slices using a back-and-forth motion.
  4. Sprinkle mini chocolate chips and chopped peanuts over the drizzled apples. Finish with a pinch of flaky sea salt.
  5. Serve immediately while apples are cold and drizzle is warm.

Notes

For best results, slice apples just before serving to prevent browning. If prepping ahead, toss slices with lemon juice. The coconut oil is key for a pourable drizzle; do not skip. Serve immediately for optimal texture contrast.
