A quick and easy snack tray recipe that mimics classic Lunchables with simple, wholesome ingredients perfect for casual gatherings or cozy solo snacks.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 810 crackers (buttery round crackers like Ritz or water crackers)
  • Mini pita rounds or multigrain chips (optional alternative to crackers)
  • 46 slices deli meats (turkey, ham, pepperoni, nitrate-free preferred)
  • 46 slices hard salami or pepperoni (optional)
  • 46 slices cheddar cheese (sharp or mild)
  • Colby Jack or mozzarella sticks (optional alternative cheese)
  • Seedless grapes or apple slices
  • Baby carrots or cucumber slices
  • Small handful of nuts like almonds or walnuts (optional)
  • Mustard or honey for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Slice cheese into thin, stackable slices about 1/8 inch thick.
  2. Slice fruit like apples or cucumbers into bite-sized pieces; wash and dry grapes.
  3. Place 8-10 crackers or mini pita rounds in one compartment of your snack container.
  4. Fold or roll 4-6 slices of deli meat and arrange next to crackers.
  5. Place 4-6 slices of cheese adjacent to the meats, stacking or fanning out.
  6. Add a small bunch of grapes or a handful of apple slices and baby carrots or cucumber slices for crunch.
  7. If using nuts or dipping sauces, place them in small silicone cups or mini liners inside the container.
  8. Seal container tightly and chill if prepping ahead; best consumed within 24 hours.

Notes

Add crackers just before serving to keep them crisp. Roll deli meats for easier eating and better presentation. Toss apple slices in lemon juice to prevent browning. Slice cheese thinly for better texture. Store components separately if prepping ahead to avoid sogginess.
