Tender, sticky, savory-sweet pork chops made with just honey, garlic, soy sauce, and pork chops in a slow cooker. A foolproof 5-minute prep dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 to 6 pork chops (bone-in or boneless, about 1 inch thick)
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 4 to 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional, for thickening)
  • 2 tablespoons cold water (optional, for slurry)
  • Pinch of red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Sesame seeds and sliced green onions (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
  2. Season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  4. Place pork chops in a single layer in the slow cooker.
  5. Pour the honey garlic mixture evenly over the chops.
  6. Cover and cook on LOW for 4 to 5 hours, until internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  7. Optional: Remove chops, pour liquid into a saucepan, whisk in cornstarch slurry, and simmer until thickened.
  8. Let chops rest for 5 minutes, then serve with sauce drizzled on top and garnish if desired.

Notes

Do not cook on HIGH; low and slow ensures tenderness. Check pork chops at 4 hours to avoid overcooking. Thickening the sauce with a cornstarch slurry transforms it into a glaze. Leftovers taste even better the next day.
