Easy July 4th Charcuterie Board - featured image

A simple, fresh, and festive charcuterie board featuring strawberries, blueberries, creamy brie, and assorted crackers, perfect for summer gatherings and July 4th celebrations.

Ingredients

  • Fresh strawberries, hulled and halved
  • Fresh blueberries, washed and drained
  • Brie cheese, about 8 ounces
  • Assorted crackers (water crackers, multigrain, or buttery rounds)
  • Sliced cured meats (optional, such as prosciutto or salami)
  • Raw almonds or walnuts, a small handful (optional)
  • Honey, for drizzling
  • Fresh mint leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Gently wash the strawberries and blueberries. Hull and halve the strawberries. Drain the blueberries well on paper towels to avoid excess moisture.
  2. Using a sharp knife, cut the brie into wedges or smaller slices depending on your board size.
  3. Lay out your crackers in clusters or lines on the board, leaving space around them for easy grabbing.
  4. If using cured meats, fold or roll slices and place them near the crackers.
  5. Artistically scatter the strawberries and blueberries around the board in small piles.
  6. Place a small ramekin with raw almonds or walnuts on the board. Drizzle honey lightly over the brie or serve it in a small dish with a honey dipper.
  7. Add a few fresh mint leaves here and there for garnish.
  8. Step back and check for balance—make sure colors and textures are evenly spread and adjust as needed.

Notes

Remove brie from the fridge about 20 minutes before serving for a creamier texture. Pat berries dry to prevent sogginess. Keep crackers separate from moist ingredients until serving. For vegan adaptation, use plant-based cheese and gluten-free crackers.
