A quick and refreshing non-alcoholic drink made with apple cider, unsweetened cranberry juice, and sparkling water. Perfect for holidays, weeknights, or any occasion, this 5-minute mocktail is crisp, tart, and bubbly.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups (480 ml) 100% apple cider (not apple juice)
  • 1 cup (240 ml) 100% unsweetened cranberry juice
  • 2 cups (480 ml) chilled sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale
  • Fresh cranberries and apple slices for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh rosemary sprigs or cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)
  • 1–2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (optional, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Chill all ingredients in the refrigerator for at least 5 minutes before starting.
  2. Wash fresh cranberries and pat dry. Slice apple into thin rounds (about 1/8-inch thick) and remove seeds. If using rosemary, rinse and pat dry. If using cinnamon sticks, have them ready.
  3. In a large pitcher, combine 2 cups apple cider and 1 cup unsweetened cranberry juice. Stir gently until well mixed. Taste and add 1-2 tablespoons maple syrup or honey if desired.
  4. Add 2 cups of ice cubes to the pitcher or fill individual glasses with ice.
  5. Just before serving, pour 2 cups chilled sparkling water, club soda, or ginger ale into the pitcher. Stir very gently to incorporate without losing carbonation.
  6. Garnish each glass with fresh cranberries, an apple slice, and a rosemary sprig or cinnamon stick. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a single serving, use a 1:1:1 ratio (1/3 cup each of apple cider, cranberry juice, and sparkling water). Add sparkling water at the table to keep bubbles intact. Use frozen cranberries as ice cubes to avoid dilution. The apple cider-cranberry base can be made up to 5 days ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
