A speedy and flavorful recipe featuring juicy air-fried pork chops glazed with a tangy-sweet apple cider Dijon sauce, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless pork chops, about 1-inch thick (around 1 pound or 450 grams total)
  • 1/4 cup (60 ml) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt to taste (about 1 teaspoon)
  • Black pepper to taste (about 1/2 teaspoon)
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

Instructions

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let them sit for 5 minutes.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together apple cider vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, and olive oil until smooth. Stir in thyme if using. Set aside.
  3. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
  4. Place pork chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket, leaving space for air circulation. Cook for 5 minutes at 400°F (200°C).
  5. Flip the pork chops using tongs, brush the tops generously with the apple cider Dijon glaze, and cook for another 5 minutes. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness; 145°F (63°C) is ideal.
  6. Remove pork chops from the air fryer and let rest on a plate for 3-4 minutes before serving.

Notes

If glaze is too thick to brush, add a teaspoon of water to thin it slightly. Watch pork chops closely the first time as air fryer models vary in heat. Use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking. Rest pork chops after cooking to keep them juicy. Bone-in pork chops can be used but require 2-3 minutes longer cooking time.
