A creamy, refreshing smoothie made with frozen strawberries, banana, and Greek yogurt, perfect for a quick and nourishing breakfast or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup (150g) frozen strawberries
  • 1 medium ripe banana, peeled (about 120g)
  • ½ cup (120g) Greek yogurt (full-fat or 2%)
  • ½ cup (120ml) milk or milk alternative (cow’s milk, almond milk, or oat milk)
  • 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)

Instructions

  1. Measure 1 cup of frozen strawberries, peel and slice 1 medium ripe banana, and scoop ½ cup of Greek yogurt. Prepare ½ cup of your chosen milk.
  2. Place the frozen strawberries in the blender first, then add the banana slices and Greek yogurt.
  3. Add ½ cup (120ml) of milk or milk alternative to the blender for the perfect consistency.
  4. Drizzle 1 teaspoon of honey or maple syrup and ¼ teaspoon of vanilla extract for extra flavor if desired.
  5. Pulse the blender on high for about 20-30 seconds until smooth and creamy without chunks of frozen fruit. Add a splash more milk if too thick.
  6. Stop and scrape down the sides with a spatula if needed; blend again for 5-10 seconds.
  7. Pour into your favorite glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Use frozen strawberries for a thick, chilled texture without diluting the flavor. For a dairy-free version, substitute Greek yogurt with coconut or almond yogurt and use plant-based milk. If using fresh strawberries, add ice cubes to keep it cold. Let frozen fruit soften slightly if blender struggles. Start blending with short pulses to break down frozen chunks.
